Fresh from the forge
Like Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Metroid Dread, and everything else MercurySteam has made, Blades of Fire is packed with cleverness. You can stab, slash, or thrust in combat and even target enemy limbs. You’ll need to attack in the right place with the right technique to prevail.
But the headline feature is the weapon-forging system.
You’ll shape and design your weapons, find metal from which to forge them, and play a smithing minigame to raise their quality. You can name them, naturally, and they’ll even get famous as you rack up their body count of nasty monsters.
