We recently ran a bounty about how your taste in music has evolved. I realised while reading the submissions that the change in my taste was pretty easy to show, so I'm sharing it here! 😄
There was a Norwegian band I used to like called Span. They produced a few basic rock albums then split up, not really leaving much of a mark. Time went by with no sign of a comeback, so that was the end of that.
Years later I stumbled across the Jam in the Van YouTube channel, and guess who shows up? BernHoft. The lead singer of Span on Jam in the Van, sporting a new look and a wildly different sound!
While I'm not into a lot of his music, his voice has a lot of character and he certainly knows how to play!
Has anyone else come across musicians live-looping instruments as they layer up their songs?
