ding dong! - I can thoroughly recommend this....

You'll get some great usage from Labs too..

Packs — LABS (spitfireaudio.com)

Both are free and awesome!

Also worth noting that a midi controller makes this all significantly easier to work with. To this end i can thoroughly recommend this > MPK Mini mk3 MIDI Controller | Akai Pro - what is great with it is that if you pruchase it at teh right time, it comes with a software bundle that is worth around 150-200 odd quid!

I'd almost forgotten about this post but I actually ended up going with the Akai APC 64.

Also has polyphonic aftertouch and it's great for what I usually make. It's an amazing bit of kit! Those libraries are great shouts though, heard good things about them.

Also decided to just bite the bullet and fork out for Stepic and Unify. Both have been incredibly powerful tools so far and have been worth it. Will definitely check out those two recommendations too!

Thanks for the reply!

Nice - i toyed with the pad controllers, but eventually opted for the keyboard as i wanted to noodle around on that, but that looks great!!

I've a Behringer UMX 610 atm, though I was maybe thinking of something from Native Instruments with weighted keys. Now if I was rich I'd definitely look into the Seabord Rise 2
