At the end of the month I am going to London to go to a Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth concert so I was wondering if anyone else here had been to a video game inspired concert before and if so what game music was played .

I've been to Distant Worlds and it was absolutely amazing! Sadly I couldn't convince my partner to make the trip down to London for this one, as he doesn't know FF7 that much so he would prefer one with music from the whole franchise. I really hope they will bring the FFXIV x FFXVI concert to Europe as well, they have 2 performances in the US and my friend said it was brilliant.
I have been to several distant worlds and new world concerts they are the best.
I'm actually going to my first video game concert this month! I'm seeing the Sonic Symphony in London, and I can't wait
Cool that's the same day as the Final Fantasy 7 concert in London.
I went to the Anamanaguchi UK tour and they played a medley of the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World the Game.
It was really cool! Since they had shows in two cities near-by, I got to go to both.
The first one I went alone so I turned up early and ended up seeing the guitarist Pete outside the venue. He was gracious enough to chat a little and sign my vinyl.
At the second one I went with a colleague. Again we came a little early just for some pre-drinks and ended up bumping into Pete again on the street. My colleague thought he was just a mate I knew rather than the artist we were about to see
My partner and I went to Video Games Live in London pre-COVID and it was awesome!
They had a range of music from Final Fantasy, Skyrim, Chrono Trigger, Tetris etc.
If I see this come up I'll be there in a heartbeat! 😄
