Mochaccino in hand, you're strolling to work on a sunny June morning. Only you take a wrong turn and instead of going to into the corner shop for a cheeky meal deal, you step through a portal into the Fae Realms. Happens to us all, right? What's the first thing you do and why?

I would take a look at my surroundings, check whether or not i have a map and start exploring.

I would have to find a place to refill that mochaccino, because let's admit it (as my partner always likes to point it out) I would be dead without coffee.

Then since I'm a total noob when it comes to survival tools not just ingame but RL as well, I would try to find tools and shelter left behind by others rather than trying to make something on my own.

Panic, scream, run away - not quite sure in which particular order.

Get to a high ground to take a look around, memorizing various points of interest and assemble a plan of my next steps depending on what ive learned from my scouting.

Stare at the scenery in awe.

Pick some berries and those lovely amanita muscaria.

Induce berserker rage.

Get attacked by wild pigs. MURDER THEM ALL.

Take shelter in a half-built broken down shack built by some poor, hapless realmwalker who came before me and eat porkchops until I'm stuffed.

It usually takes me a while to build confidence with new and unknown situations; so, like the coward that I am, I would probably climb a tree and stay there until I realize I'm not dreaming or getting back home. After I realize I'm really stuck in the fae realms, I'd begrudgingly get out of the tree and go about making a base and securing supplies, all the while bemoaning my bad luck.

I would pull out my phone, take a video and upload it to TikTok and get trending.

First step - Make a tool

Find a Solid and Dry Stick: Look for a sturdy, dry stick that is about the length of your forearm. It should be strong enough to withstand pressure.
Find a Sharp Stone, or Make One: Search for a sharp stone with a pointed or cutting edge. If you can’t find one, you can create a sharp edge by striking two stones together until you shape one into a cutting tool.
Take My EDC Bag from My Belt: Retrieve your a Knife and Paracord.
Shape the Stick: Use the knife to carve one end of the stick into a notch where the stone will fit securely.
Attach the Stone: Place the sharp stone into the notch. Use the paracord to tightly wrap around the stone and stick, securing them together to form a primitive axe.

Now, I'm equipped to defend myself, negotiate with other humans, and build a shelter!
