Why I Overlooked Fishing in Nightingale (And Why You Shouldn't!)

Hey! Before patch 0.5, I must admit, I completely overlooked the fishing gameplay in Nightingale. Turns out, it’s much more significant than I thought—offering a valuable source of materials, intricate mechanics for min-maxing, and a relaxing, chill activity.

After diving deep into research and some light datamining, I’ve put together the ultimate Nightingale fishing guide. If you haven’t tried fishing yet, I highly recommend it to broaden your game experience!

I usually don't like fishing but when I tried it in Nightingale it was fun to figure it out on my own how to reel in a fish. Plus it was more relaxing to get food this way instead of hunting the wolves. Will definitely try it again with your guide

When I first picked up the game, I must have spent 4-8 hours fishing while planting food on my rooftop. I love the food aspect to survival games. I was a bit disappointed there weren't more food assets but understood that's not the main focus. I've also spent a fair amount of time fishing and cooking in sea of thieves. I don't enjoy fishing in real life so to speak but I do love it when they add these side activities to the game those small details for downtime in game aside from the killing, grinding and exploring.
