Narrative isn't Rayman's major selling point, but it's there, and it's interesting, and it's time it got some attention!

Make a video about Rayman's story OR the villain at the centre of it, Mr Dark. Further interpretation of the brief is up to you - see 'reward details' for more inspiration - but whatever you make, please do it to a high standard and make it entertaining!

This is an open brief. As long as the focus of your video is the story of the original Rayman game OR its villain, Mr Dark, you may make whatever video you wish.
This applies to length and format: you can go shortform and vertical, or midform and landscape.
It also applies to content. We're happy to see summaries of the story and lore, but we'd love to see thematic analyses too, and if you've got a weird, off-the-wall idea, like how Rayman's story is actually an analogue of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night or that Mr Dark was really the good guy all along, we'd love to see that! If you can stick the landing, it'll very likely get amplified.
The highest-quality, most entertaining, best-made, most original or creative videos, with the highest production values, will be prioritised for prizes. $25 is a reasonably high prize, so quality expectations are set accordingly. As ever, we reserve the right to reject low-effort videos or hold them in shortlist.
