Aphrodite is a highly versatile character in the game, capable of providing excellent support to her team. She can both heal and deal explosive damage, making her a dual-function character with diverse uses. Her ability to adapt to different situations makes her a valuable asset in any match, particularly for teams that require sustained support.

Her passive ability allows her to enhance magic power and regenerate mana, while also boosting her ally's damage output. This makes Aphrodite a great partner for high-damage characters, as her support can amplify their effectiveness. With Kiss, she can increase movement speed and stun an enemy if it hits, making it an indispensable tool for interrupting opponent actions or securing kills.

One of her most interesting abilities lies in her capacity to damage enemies at long range while simultaneously healing her teammates. This dual-purpose ability ensures she remains impactful throughout the game. Primarily a support character, her Back Off! repelling wave ability can be incredibly useful—not only does it deal damage to enemies, but it also pushes them back, providing much-needed crowd control.

Aphrodite is ideal for melee engagements and offering crucial support, especially during tough moments. Players focusing on team defense and positioning will find her an excellent choice.

Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, returns in SMITE 2 as a versatile support-mage hybrid, offering exceptional healing, crowd control, and utility to her team. Her abilities allow her to sustain allies and disrupt enemies, making her a valuable asset in various team compositions.

Abilities

Passive – Center of Attention
Aphrodite gains increased protections and movement speed for each allied god within a certain radius, enhancing her survivability when near teammates.

1st Ability – Kiss
Aphrodite blows a kiss to an allied god, linking with them as her Soul Mate and providing both with increased movement speed. If the kiss hits an enemy god, they are stunned, and Aphrodite becomes linked to the nearest allied god.

2nd Ability – Back Off!
Aphrodite emits a shockwave around herself and her Soul Mate, dealing damage and knocking back enemies. This ability serves as both an offensive tool and a peel mechanism to protect allies.

3rd Ability – Love Birds
Aphrodite releases a flock of doves in a line, dealing damage to enemies and healing herself and her Soul Mate over time. This ability provides significant sustain in both laning and team fight scenarios.

Ultimate – Undying Love
Aphrodite grants herself and her Soul Mate temporary invulnerability to all damage and crowd control effects. This game-changing ultimate can negate enemy ultimates and turn the tide of battle.

Ability Leveling Order

Prioritize leveling Love Birds first to maximize healing and damage output. Follow up by maxing Kiss to reduce its cooldown and enhance the movement speed buff. Back Off! can be leveled next to improve its damage and utility. Upgrade Undying Love whenever available to maximize its protective potential.

Aphrodite, the Greek deity of love, beauty, passion, and fertility, ranks among the twelve Olympian gods. Her origin varies in myths: one tale has her arising from sea foam created by Uranus' severed parts, symbolizing raw desire, while another claims her as the offspring of Zeus and Dione. Known for her captivating allure, Aphrodite significantly impacts the actions and feelings of both gods and humans, leading to tales of romance, envy, and conflict. She's often shown with symbols including doves, swans, and myrtle, with her Roman equivalent being Venus.

Kiss: Link with an ally for shared speed and protection, or stun an enemy to increase your soulmate's damage.

Back Off: Knock back and damage foes, with effects mirroring from your soulmate, slowing enemies.

Love Birds: Doves damage enemies while healing and reducing cooldowns for Aphrodite and her soulmate.

Undying Love (Ultimate): Aphrodite and her soulmate become invulnerable, clearing crowd control. Aphrodite can now jump to her soulmate.

Her damge type would be support/mage

Aphrodite's strategy in Smite 2:

Early Game: Prioritize safety, using Love's Embrace to bolster a teammate. Push opponents back with Venusian Vex for lane control or securing minions.

Mid Game: Shift to an active support, leveraging Doves of Delight for team fight healing and damage. Use Heart's Desire. to manipulate enemy focus or disrupt their strategy.

Late Game: Eternal Affection is pivotal for clutch moments, countering enemy ults or saving allies from wipes. Stick close to key allies for the protection bonus from Heart's Desire.

Positioning: Keep to the rear or near the carry, using abilities to protect or empower them. Be mindful of positioning to avoid being isolated.

Build: Opt for gear that boosts healing, magical damage, and reduces cooldowns. Aura items that passively aid allies are also beneficial.

Team Fights: Charm high-priority foes with Heart's Desire, heal with Doves of Delight, and use Eternal Affection. to swing engagements. Aim to extend fights in your team's favor through support rather than direct damage.

Aphrodite in Smite 2 is one of the most powerful and beautiful deities for support. She has the ability to mainly bluff her enemies and at the same time heal herself and the team, but she is not bad on the battlefield. Aphrodite's abilities are very useful for keeping her team alive, giving them the chance to advance and win. One of the "Kiss" abilities allows her to bind to an ally and heal them while inflicting damage to an opponent near them. The Love Birds does more or less the same thing with increased damage to those in her same area of action. Another useful ability for her and the team is "Back Off!" which gives her the ability to push enemies away from her and the team, thus giving the team a chance to catch their breath.

She is a character mainly useful for supporting the team, but if played well she can also inflict the right amount of damage. Together with the team she can make the team really very strong. She is a great choice for ensuring team survival and balance and can bluff more challenging casts than her opponents.

For items to build, you should aim for those that provide resistance and magic damage... but also and especially those that work on healing.
