Predict what will happen at the SMITE 2 Founder's Series Championships in Las Vegas!

Here's my predictions for each match at Vegas:

Match 3 - 5Ms vs Food Drive: 2-0

5Ms take this one I think, they're the proven strongest team out of the qualifiers as they didn't lose a single game. If they continue playing that well, they should win this. Though Food Drive are strong and have taken games off many top teams, should be an interesting one.

Match 4 - Smoke Break vs Team RISK: 1-2

A very even matchup in my view. Team RISK looked really strong coming into the qualifiers but had a very underwhelming performance while Smoke Break looked much better than they did before. Could go either way but I'll give it to Team RISK as they have a bit more history of being a strong team.

Match 5 - Food Drive vs Borscht: 1-2

Another very even matchup in my eyes. Food Drive looked really good in the qualifiers, better than Borscht in fact. But Borscht seem to have that miracle potential where if they show up, they show up BIG so I could see this going either way depending on how good of a grasp Borscht have on the meta. Overall I give it to Borscht as they also have more experienced tournament players that have been to Worlds before whereas Food Drive is a more rookie roster.

Match 6 - Smoke Break vs Mockingbird: 2-0

Smoke Break takes this one I think. It won't be a complete blow-out but Mockingbird are probably the weakest team here and Smoke Break are simply the stronger team. Could have upset potential but overall I give it to Smoke Break 2-0.

Match 7 - 5Ms vs Team RISK: 3-1

A clash of the titans! These were the 2 strongest teams going into qualifiers, both being undefeated in their respective regions. Should be a very exciting set if the bracket plays out this way with this being an EU vs NA grudge match. With how RISK performed in the qualifiers though, I do think 5Ms take this one as they've been consistently the strongest team both in their region and at international qualifiers. I do think RISK are strong enough to take a game from 5Ms though so I give this BO5 set 3-1 to 5Ms.

Match 8 - Borscht vs Smoke Break : 1-2

This will be a set to watch! A very even matchup in my view with both of these teams being strong contenders. As said earlier, Borscht can really show up HARD on a good day and they have a lot of LAN experience behind them but Smoke Break are also a really strong team with a couple of ex-SPL players of their own. Overall I think I give this one to Smoke Break as they've looked like the stronger team, especially in the qualifiers but I do think this set will go 3 games, ending 2-1 in favor of Smoke Break.

Match 9 - Smoke Break vs Team RISK : 1-2

Another absolutely amazing set if the bracket plays out like this. Both incredibly strong teams and prior to the qualifiers I would've given this more handily to Team RISK but Smoke Break looked really good in those qualifiers and RISK faltered a bit. All in all though, I do give the set to RISK 2-1 but this one could really go either way depending on if Team RISK are back on top-form or not for this event.

GRAND FINALS - 5Ms vs Team RISK: 3-1

If the bracket works out this way it will be a story of two titans. These 2 teams both went undefeated in their regions, with 5Ms remaining so in the international qualifiers but Team RISK faltering a bit and dropping some games. It's an NA vs EU grudge match which I think is something we're all looking for in a Grand Finals and I think this will be a set for the ages if it works out this way. Overall I give this to 5Ms 3-1 as I think they are the overall stronger team and with both these rosters being full to the brim with ex-SPL talent, there shouldn't be any nerves or 'LAN moments' that could swing things in either team's favor. This is just raw SMITE talent vs raw SMITE talent and I think 5Ms are just the better team. That said, it could go either way. Team RISK were DOMINANT for a long time and if they're back in tip-top shape for this event, they could absolutely take it. I have them down as winning just 1 game based on their qualifier performance, though. As much as a bracket reset into Best of 1 would be hype af, I give this set 3-1 to 5Ms as the first Grand Champions of SMITE 2!

My predictions is that the number 1 ban will either be loki or Zeus and that smoke break might take the win based on how they have looked.

I predict we will see a lot of banning loki and Sol. Possibly seeing a lot of thanatos first pics for jungler. Would love to seesome Hecate getting played mid but i omagine itll be aladin

What I believe will occur at the Smite 2 Vegas founder series in Las Vegas, then. The first match will be between 5m's and the food drive on Friday I think? Based solely on their performance in NA, I believe Food Drive will lose that matchup, but since the 5Ms have had more practice against Food Drive, I believe they will prevail. In the match between SmokeBreak and Team Risk, I believe Smoke Break loses because Team Risk will have, or atleast, SHOULD HAVE learned from their mistakes from the previous LAN and play much better now. Then, I believe that Food Drive vs. Borscht will be the fifth match. Food Drive will likely defeat Borscht, in my opinion.

El mayor torneo SMITE 2 se llevará a cabo este fin de semana, del 17 al 19 de enero, ¡y queremos escuchar sus predicciones! Seis equipos participarán, habiendo progresado a través de las eliminatorias, el soporte abierto y los playoffs, para tener la oportunidad de coronarse como los primeros campeones de SMITE 2.

¡Cuéntanos exactamente lo que crees que sucederá! Desde los resultados y a quién predices para ganar todo hasta eventos específicos tanto en el juego como en el evento en general. Sus predicciones no necesitan hacerse realidad para ganar, pero deben ser realistas, por lo que si alguien considera que los dioses de SMITE 2 van a cobrar vida y destruir la arena, tenemos miedo de que sea demasiado descabellado.

Aquí están mis predicciones para cada partido en Las Vegas:

Partido 3 - 5Ms vs Food Drive: 2-0

5Ms tomar este creo, son el equipo más fuerte probado de las eliminatorias, ya que no perdieron un solo juego. Si siguen jugando tan bien, deberían ganar esto. Aunque Food Drive es fuerte y ha quitado juegos de muchos de los mejores equipos, debería ser interesante.

Partido 4 - Smoke Break vs Team RISK: 1-2

Un enfrentamiento muy uniforme en mi opinión. Team RISK parecía muy fuerte al entrar en las eliminatorias, pero tuvo una actuación muy decepcionante, mientras que Smoke Break se veía mucho mejor que antes. Podría ir en cualquier dirección, pero se lo daré al equipo, ya que tienen un poco más de historia de ser un equipo fuerte.

Partido 5 - Food Drive vs Borscht: 1-2

Otro enfrentamiento muy uniforme en mis ojos. Food Drive se veía muy bien en los clasificatorios, mejor que Borscht de hecho. Pero Borscht parece tener ese potencial milagroso donde si aparecen, aparecen en grande para que pueda ver que esto va en cualquier dirección dependiendo de lo bueno que Borscht tenga en el meta. En general, se lo doy a Borscht, ya que también tienen jugadores de torneos más experimentados que han estado en Worlds antes, mientras que Food Drive es una lista de novatos.

Partido 6 - Smoke Break vs Mockingbird: 2-0

Smoke Break toma este creo. No será una explosión completa, pero Mockingbird es probablemente el equipo más débil aquí y Smoke Break es simplemente el equipo más fuerte. Podría tener un potencial de malestar, pero en general se lo doy a Smoke Break 2-0.

Partido 7 - 5Ms vs Riesgo de equipo: 3-1

¡Un choque de titanes! Estos fueron los 2 equipos más fuertes que entraron en las eliminatorias, ambos invictos en sus respectivas regiones. Debería ser un conjunto muy emocionante si el grupo se juega de esta manera, siendo este un partido de rencor UE vs NA. Sin embargo, con el rendimiento de RISK en las eliminatorias, creo que los 5M toman este, ya que han sido consistentemente el equipo más fuerte tanto en su región como en las eliminatorias internacionales. Creo que el riesgo es lo suficientemente fuerte como para tomar un juego de 5Ms, así que le doy a este conjunto de BO5 3-1 a 5Ms.

Partido 8 - Borscht vs Smoke Break: 1-2

¡Será un set para ver! Un enfrentamiento muy uniforme en mi opinión con estos dos equipos siendo fuertes contendientes. Como se dijo anteriormente, Borscht realmente puede aparecer duro en un buen día y tienen mucha experiencia en LAN detrás de ellos, pero Smoke Break también es un equipo muy fuerte con un par de ex jugadores de SPL propios. En general, creo que le doy esto a Smoke Break, ya que se han visto como el equipo más fuerte, especialmente en las eliminatorias, pero creo que este set se irá 3 juegos, terminando 2-1 a favor de Smoke Break.

Partido 9 - Smoke Break vs Team RISK: 1-2

Otro conjunto absolutamente increíble si el soporte se desarrolla así. Tanto equipos increíblemente fuertes como antes de las eliminatorias, le habría dado esto más fácilmente al Team RISK, pero Smoke Break se veía muy bien en esos clasificatorios y RISK falló un poco. En general, sin embargo, le doy el set a RISK 2-1, pero este realmente podría ir en cualquier dirección dependiendo de si Team RISK está de vuelta en la forma superior o no para este evento.

GRAND FINALS - 5Ms vs Team RISK: 3-1

Si el soporte funciona de esta manera será una historia de dos titanes. Estos 2 equipos quedaron invictos en sus regiones, con 5Ms restantes así en las eliminatorias internacionales, pero el riesgo del equipo vacila un poco y pierde algunos juegos. Es un partido de rencor de NA vs EU que creo que es algo que todos estamos buscando en una Gran Final y creo que este será un set para todas las edades si funciona de esta manera. En general, le doy esto a 5Ms 3-1, ya que creo que son el equipo más fuerte en general y con ambas listas llenas hasta el borde con talento ex-SPL, no debería haber ningún nervio o 'momentos LAN' que podrían cambiar las cosas a favor de cualquiera de los equipos. Esto es solo un talento SMITE crudo frente a un talento SMITE crudo y creo que los 5M son el mejor equipo. Dicho esto, podría ir en cualquier dirección. Team RISK fue DOMINANTE durante mucho tiempo y si están de vuelta en plena forma para este evento, absolutamente podrían tomarlo. Sin embargo, los tengo como ganadores de solo 1 juego en función de su rendimiento clasificatorio. Por mucho que un restablecimiento de soporte en Best of 1 sea exagerado, ¡le doy a este set 3-1 a 5Ms como los primeros Grandes Campeones de SMITE 2!
