I’ve already mentioned it on here once before but Xalavier Nelson Jr. (and, by association, Strange Scaffold) is consistently churning out some of the most fun-to-play indies of the last few years. They are yet to miss and this Max Payne / Hotline Miami crossover doesn’t seem to be breaking that trend.
Fully recommend, if you haven’t already, getting your hands the good type of dirty by trying out An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs, Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, or Sunshine Shuffle. They’re also working on Teenage Demon Slayer Society for next year because they’re obviously not busy enough.
Every release so far has worn its influence on its sleeve and been better for it. Can’t wait for this!
