The official FINAL FANTASY XVI Twitter shared a video message from producer Naoki Yoshida thanking fans for playing the game and for all the nice feedback, opinions and comments. And as a reward a free patch has been released which includes new glamour options for Clive's weapon and new glamour outfit for the most of the main characters (not saying names in case any of you haven't finished the game yet. They are mentioned in the video though so beware) The patch also includes minor fixes and adjustments to the game.
Given the feedback how many of us would love to learn more about the world of Valisthea, they are working on 2 paid DLCs, and they hope to share more details by the end of the year. This is really nice to hear, as since they said at the release of the game that they didn't have DLCs planned it was a possibility we wouldn't get any, but personally I'm glad there will be more to come to the story. Any ideas what the new DLCs will be about? I certainly have a few I would love to see :)
Yoshida-san's team is also working on a PC version for the game. We don't have a release date yet, but I think it's a really good decision from SQUARE ENIX given how many people would love to play the game but couldn't get or afford a PS5. We don't know since when the PC version has been in development and how long it will take to complete it, but I wouldn't expect it to be released before the game has been out for a year at least.
