I think the proof will be in the pudding for that one. I get the feeling 'hero build' here probably means a slightly different shade of jerkin.
It's always a shabby jerkin as well! In Diablo 3 my partner always ends up with the Pox Faulds...the stinky pants.
If the 1+ million builds are based on armour configurations then at least the clothes in this game are classy!
