I like to get the opinions of various devs on GamePass - especially when there's so much perceived bias / misinformation about subscription services from the mainstream press and players.

I don't think that article would be forthcoming from the mainstream media - especially when so many outlets are at the mercy of revenue that directly comes from the likes of MS.

It's worth noting however that the head of Sony (Jim Ryan) stated that subscription services devalued games, and his comments were met by unanimous uproar by gamers and press alike.

I'm actually in favour of what Jim Ryan said... subscription services aren't good for anyone, and ultimately devalue the product in the eyes of the consumer.

How can someone be expected to pay for something that they're now been accustomed to getting for free?

Seems like an own-goal from my perspective... Although I doubt if mainstream journalists would ever (publicly) share the same view.
