They are very different styles of RPG, but in the same way Baldur's Gate 3 feels like it has raised the bar, Dragon's Dogma 2 is looking mightily impressive. It had a much more scripted story with captivating quests, complex characters, and immensely engaging combat, compared to something like Skyrim from a few years before, which was more of a sandbox. DD2 is giving me very similar vibes to TW3, and I am wholly ready for it to consume my life. I should probably go and play the first one at some point...
