We'll be talking more about this over at Just About EVE Online, but CCP Games has just announced the dates for Vanguard First Strike - the pre-alpha playtest for their awesome-looking FPS module.
First Strike will be open to all EVE players with an active Omega subscription. Even if you're not an EVE player, it's a pretty cool concept: being able to shape the single shard universe of EVE Online with boots-on-the-ground FPS gameplay. Early footage - including a live playtest at Fanfest - shows a lot of promise.
