I thoroughly enjoyed WandaVision and Fleabag, so having Megan McDonnell (WandaVision, The Marvels) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) on the team makes me think it's in good hands.

Each of the previous games and movies explore a single incident or mystery, so I'm curious to see if the show and movie mean there will be a continuation of the Lara Croft story between her adventures.

The show could be less action-heavy and show the trauma the adventures cause, while Lara carries out investigative work for the next adventure. The movies could be the culmination of all of that work, dragging Lara Croft (and friends?) into the high-stakes, action-packed tomb raiding.

I am really hopeful this is fantastic! is there any word on if it is going to be similar to reboot tomb raider Lara or original games lara as they are quite different? Or who knows maybe even aligning to the new game which is supposedly in development!

I think theres also an anime on the way too? I really enjoyed the last movie with Alicia Vikander and thought it was pretty under rated, and sure it probably just got crushed by whatever marvel avengers movie was about at that time too, so a series will be great to see, and hopefully its gritty enough too like that movie was!

Yeah I think Netflix has an animated show in the works!

Totally agree about the latest Tomb Raider film! I think the anime and the tv show will be separate universes, or at least I hope so! It'd be weird to have an anime and live action show / movie cross over somehow.
