Sometimes we take out the ps1 to play Who want to be a millionaire? Going to try set up a light dnd game for the younger members of the family. Also Mario Kart always a banger.

Christmas always used to be about getting new video games for me so I have a lot of strong associations between this time of year and certain games. The Witcher 3, Skyrim, and Red Dead Redemption come to mind most strongly - call it the sense memories linking hours in immersive single-player RPGs with the cold of my parents' living room and After Eight mints!
These days I tend to buy games for myself whenever I want them. Might pick another big RPG to dip back into, though...
We tend to visit family over the holidays, and we always break out the party games.
Worms Armageddon, Bomberman, and Micro Machines are our go-to games, but more recently we've been playing Mario Party Superstars. Highly recommend it if you want to start a family feud! Also, Princess Peach is a cheater! 😂
This year for me it's been Vampire Survivors! With my mother in law occupying my office space/spare room I couldn't get to my PC so I played a lot of Vampire Survivors on my steam deck the past few days!
Well we get the Sega out and start taking turns on Sonic THe Hedgehog, it's kinda a family tradition here.
