never been! What’s the script with it? The convention which was on my bucket list but no longer exists is E3! Hopefully it will rise from the ashes someday!
I know! I always wanted to go to E3 but sadly I heard over the time it did move further and further from what it once was and by the final few it really wouldn't have been the same. Then Covid conked it on the head for them.
At an early guess, I suspect the headlines will be trust, discoverability, cross-streaming and some flashing new feature we have no idea about yet.
I wonder if they would ever drop there split to 70/30 in favour of the creator from the current 50/50! That could generate a nice buzz and may encourage more creators to monetise on the platform versus off platform like patreon where twitch don’t get a cut
Given they aren't profitable I doubt it but it does create space for competitors. Perhaps up and coming streaming platforms will be something they have to talk around (or maybe even address directly) at Twitchcon.
It’d be a huge deal if they did but I guess I think I’m sceptical that it would happen. You are right though, that’d be a hell of a twitchcon 😅
I'd love to go just to hang out with a few streamers I've met over the last 3 and a bit years. Less likely with little one on the horizon!
Never had a chance but would love to go. Would be nice to meet streamers I follow in person and to make some connections.
