See ive thought about this a lot and as the body armour covers a large amount of perks ive always thought a good one would be if the helmet pinged stuff like ammo or samples within a certain range, lets just say your 20 meters away from a sample your hemlet causes it to glow or flash once you further than 20 meters it stops? What do you all think 🤔

I like this! Simple but effective, almost like x-ray vision for resources.

It would be really cool if you could unlock and equip a helmet that shows you enemy weaknesses. so you ould have to physically equip it but that would mean you could get other helmets , such as showing ammo. or early warning system for adverse weather, or can activate 10 secs of auto aim.

enemy weakness spot,makes it easier to find item,reduce hit effect for any sec,and make a little gun/drone on helmet so it can help attack with little damage

1 - Something kind of like Hitman vision? Not constantly on, but like every 30 seconds or so (or it recharges on eliminations) it would be able to send a pulse to highlight outlines of enemies. (if something like this is already there, sorry ... i haven't been able to play in a while, keeps hardcrashing on my PC)

2 - Binoculars?

3 - ooo ooo a small heads up display to show certain stuff, acts like the eyepiece on Kril's helmet in the Last Starfighter.

Last stand perk

Upon recieving a killing blow the last stand perk activates to give you a shot of health but at a cost of impaired vision.

While I do not play this game, I think the perks of such games should reflect the game. So for me, helmet perks should be around these.

Night VisionThermal VisionLast Stand (self revival)Drop perks, such as extra ammo etcThese are just a few things I always think FPS games should have.

One perk I’ve never seen done in a shooter (1st or 3rd person) before is, you know in racing games where you can have a digital rear view mirror? Well, that but in something like Helldivers 2. You’d be able to see what creatures are looking behind you if you’re preoccupied with something else. It might be too much with the rapid camera movement, but it’d be interesting to try it as a perk.

I love this idea. I feel like it could cause some performance issues with having to render what would be almost 360 degrees, rather than just the way you're facing, but I think it'd be super helpful during those moments you're fleeing from a Charger/Bile Titan/Strider/Tank/insert practically any other enemy here on the way to extraction.
