Are you using a wire or connecting wirelessly?

Wired. One time it will connect fine. Next I have to unplug replug the cable like 5 times and it might connect after that. Not a stable experience at all

is it original cable? sounds like a faulty port or a cable.

I decided to use my quest2 without a cable since i have wifi6 at home

No, not original because i didnt want to spend 70 on a cable. And I don't have fast enough wifi access points in my area, they're older ones.

It appears that the issue is related to connectivity. There is a connection test application available. If the port or cable speed is less than 4 gigabits per second, it is not suitable for VR gaming.

Wifi6 router is cheaper than link cable

I used mine wirelessly for a long time and it was mostly seamless. I also had a lot of issues using a regular USB C lightning 3 or 4 cable. I finally got the Oculus brand connection cable ($70 🙄) BUT, it works perfectly every time now. It's also slightly but notably smoother and prettier.

I'm considering finally getting the PSVR2 since I also have a PS5 and really want to play the Sony exclusive Resident Evil 4/Village VR modes.
