Amazing!! The Xbox 360 really was peak Xbox in my opinion!

Definitely worth playing the first couple. They are great action rpg games and the writing is excellent. Very funny and reminiscent of the Simon the Sorceror humour.

fable 3 was clever in its own right. The game was effectively 2 different experiences in one. The first half was standard Fable, but the second half was almost a citizen management sim, where you had to make political choices that would either cost lots of money, or create unrest. But it’s all about the greater good.

Hopefully not too spoilery but one example is a factory owner who wants you to reopen workhouses and use child labour in a Victorian industrial era kind of way. Agreeing with him will add money to the city coffers and will help build greater defences, but it will cost you men due to the treacherous working conditions. The whole second half of the game is about striking a balance between these.

With the new game looking like a return to form it would be a great time to jump in. I would try playing the Anniversary edition of Fable 1. It’s in game pass or it’s very cheap usually on Steam or Xbox store. Very easy entry to determine if they’re for you or not.
