Fortnite just smashed their all time peak public concurrent player count tonight during the chapter 5 live event. Last year’s event had 11.6 million, so a 3 million increase from 12 months ago.
Really good live event, the code name internally for the this event and the upcoming chapter (and OG return) is apparently called “return to form”. Chapter 6 goes live at some point on Sunday now that chapter 5 is over.
