The Forge mechanic in Blades of Fire is one of its most unique selling points, allowing you to sculpt each and every weapon you use. You can pick all of the materials you use, including the shapes of each part, then take it to the anvil to hammer into the perfect blade for Aran to slash through foes with.
It's a somewhat complex mechanic though, with various aspects to consider, including how to get more materials, how the various shapes and materials affect the weapon's properties, and how to increase the quality.
