All the reboots, retcons, and alternative universes can make it pretty hard to know when and where to start reading a series.
So let's start with the basics...is there a comics publisher you prefer? Are there any series you'd recommend?

For me its marvel followed by DC.
Just happens that my favourite characters, Deadpool and Spider-man are marvel.
Marvel all the way, been a fan since way before films were coming, I will never be swayed!

The first comics I read were Star Wars from Dark Horse. I only got into Marvel when I learnt it was not all about Spider-Man, but I had to move to the UK for that because all we had back home was Batman, Superman and Spider-Man.
Well, yeah... i'm pretty blank in that
