I've danced around a few blogging sites like WordPress, Blogger, Substack, Medium etc. and I've always found that their UI is cumbersome. When someone just wants to express their opinions or thoughts in a post but then there are a lot of different options or just can't get the right formatting for pictures, embeds, links, and text to all sit flush and nice, it really detracts from what you want to be doing.

So shout out to the staff at Just About for creating a platform that makes everything.. well just work! I love that links for YT, Spotify, Twitter, and Instagram are just converted into nice embeds. I love that pictures that are originally webp can be saved as .jpg and will be uploaded without issue.

But I love the most is the ease of it. Rarely have I had to go back into posts to fix formatting issues which has always been my bugbear for other sites where the published piece doesn't look nice.
