Vermund will be more familiar territory for fans of the first DD game. It's an abundant alpine continent filled with verdant farmland. Humans rule underneath a monarch, and the Arisen is treated as sovereign.

Battahl is a nation of unforgiving deserts, jagged canyons, precarious gondola-connected outposts, and shifting sands. Inhabited mostly by beastren (non-humans), the Arisen will not be treated with such reverence.
