Letting my imagination run for a minute…Tell you what’d be cool, being able to hire more pawns. Like, loads more. Maybe a whole army? And you need a big ol’ mega dragon to fight too, or perhaps another army? Maybe you are tasked with recruiting people for one of the kingdoms. You have train your recruits too. It could he whole mini-game side-quest thing.

Could you imagine a multiplayer component where you get pitted head-to-head against another player online, both of you with 50+ pawns under your control? It'd be pure chaos - and the amount of action would likely chug the game far too much to run properly - but one can dream.

What would likely happen is everyone would just run 50 of the same vocation; I'm not sure much could get past the AoE effects of 50 Mages or Sorcerers lol.

I want to see a better real time access UI during the game itself. being able to assign 3 or 4 items to each direction of the dpad in a quick access menu selection. It's so frustrating how you have to constantly pause the gamer, go into the menu to heal or use various items. There's all sorts of one of spell casts books that you can use duing a fight, but I;ve never used any of them as they are so inaccessible. The constant pausing breaks the flow of the game and really impacts the tense atmosphere of a difficult battle.

A complete graphics overhaul mod that makes significant texture improvements an increases draw distance/LOD thresholds.

Definitely agreed on both counts. I've used a few spell books, but they were solely during tough fights against dragons and golems when I wasn't powerful enough. They're not intuitive enough to use regularly at all.

Mounts would be top of my list (and apparently also at the bottom as its the only thing currently on said list)

I dont just mean ox's though, adolescent griffins and other such monsters would be brilliant. Could you imagine how cool it would be flying over a dragon on your mini griffin, jumping off to free fall on the the dragons back and staring a fight in the sky....

This may be beyond modding tbf but I can dream.

I don't think anything is beyond mods these days. Mounts would be amazing, but I do see why they're not in the game by default because the devs had a very clear vision in mind for how limited fast travel would be!

Yeah I understand that point.

What do I hope to see modded into Dragon's Dogma 2?

Firstly, the game needs a better UI and UX for PC controls, specifically for the mouse and keyboard. The current version feels like a poor port, and it's not just the odd keybindings—which can be fixed—but the clunky menus and excessive confirmation dialogs that really disrupt the flow. While there are some mods attempting to address these issues, none have managed to provide a comprehensive solution yet.
