That's interesting. On one hand it's well deserved, I had a really great time with the game, it felt super compelling and scratched an itch that nothing else has really been able to scratch. On the other hand, I'm not clamouring for a new one and I'm not sure when if ever I will be (although I'd definitely be up for some DLC). I wonder if they intend to release new entries as frequently as they do Monster Hunter and Resident Evil.
It sounds like DLC really elevated the original and they've build a really compelling world, so I'd be surprised if they don't follow up with something end of 2024 or early 2025. What I'm curious about is whether they'd keep it as sequential titles or go the way Insomniac did with Miles Morales and have parallel / complementary titles?
