I have always loved rails, I use them on my PVE Kronos. After the Expansion the performance has been so much better in that ship.

I don't think the buff makes them overpowered, but more sustainable when compared to the other weapon systems.

This is the fit i use. It's not a PVP or blaster fit but i enjoy it on occasion.

[Kronos, Kronos] Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Damage Control II Large Armor Repairer II 800mm Steel Plates II 800mm Steel Plates II

Large Micro Jump Drive Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II

Large Trimark Armor Pump II Large Trimark Armor Pump II

Hornet II x25

Javelin L x4130 Spike L x4872

I bought 5 Kronos on patch day and put them back up on the market for 150% of the price.

They sold within 24 hours.

Needless to say, I liked that buff.

On a serious note, It gave me the thought of trying the Talos as a kiting plattform once more. Didn't get around to trying it yet.

The large railgun buff was interesting to me as people did not fly rail battleships because rails were ill-performing, but because HACs were still the meta. I think this was a good balance change, however, the meta is quickly changing again with the addition of new ships of all sizes. The Alligator will likely become one of the most used PvE ships and it seems Zarzakh is bringing back cruisers to roams while everyone is still testing out Lancers.

I'm glad CCP fixed such a glaring imbalance and I hope they continue to refine stats as they introduce so many new ships and modules to the game.

Never see anyone run those really in wh XD
