To celebrate the launch of Havoc we're running what might be Just About's biggest bounty ever. We're offering five winners $50 each to produce a review of EVE's latest expansion. Once we've awarded the winners, we plan on combining the reviews into the best Havoc review on the internet.
We'll be judging these reviews on popularity, clarity, incisiveness, depth-of-understanding, and quality-of-writing/production. We might also dish out some bonus points for creative flare.
Havoc introduces many new features. You don't have to cover all of them. If you don't feel you have a good understanding of, say, the new corp projects, it's better not to cover them than to improvise. Similarly, we don't expect you all to review piloting an Azariel, we have a separate bounty en route for that.
We highly recommend using subheadings to divide up your review. Feel free to include screenshots to compliment a written review. Write no more than 800 words. Film no more than 25 minutes. Good luck! And enjoy!

The HAVOC expansion was officially launched on November 14, 2023, and we can define it on three basic pillars: insurgencies, corporation projects, and gameplay improvements, so let's analyze each of these three pillars a bit.
Pirates Attack!
The Angel Cartel and Guristas have joined forces with the enigmatic Fulcrum resident in Zarzakh and have begun their deployment to contest control of the conflicting systems of the empires. Their desire is to spread corruption and they are seeking capsuleers to join their cause. In return, they are willing to reward them by granting access to the Fulcrum and providing LP so they can access their new ships before anyone else.
The Angel Cartel, after years of research and setbacks, has finally completed the development of its super capital ship, a titan called Azariel. Additionally, each of them has added a new destroyer and battlecruiser to their ranks, undoubtedly a demonstration of the strengthening of these organizations from the shadows.
The empires are preparing their response and deploying troops to impose repression in systems where pirates are gaining too much power.
As a pilot, you must now choose whether to fight for any of the four empires or whether the promise of great rewards and access to the Fulcrum will be enough to support the chaos brought by the pirates.
Empowering Corporations
Now, it is possible to create corporate projects and assign an ISK payment that will be granted to pilots contributing to the expansion of their corporations in proportion to their contribution in each project. You have the opportunity to incentivize the creation of content such as Faction Warfare, industry, specific asset purchases, NPC kills, mineral extraction, and so on. The possibilities are enormous. Undoubtedly, it's a tool that, when well-used, can provide relief to the already tedious and bureaucratic tasks of managing a corporation.
Gameplay Improvements
We have enhancements for the tutorial and missions of the AIR Career Program, new sites, the possibility to resume missions, better tracking of opportunities, everything necessary to assist new Capsuleers. Additionally, there are improvements in the Photon interface for Omega players, allowing them to take their customization level a step further by changing the interface colors. This can be very useful, especially for players using multiple accounts, allowing for easier differentiation between them. Moreover, changes in font size and providing two new options, "Tiny" and "Huge," have been introduced, along with changes in the settings menu.
To conclude, we have a change in manufacturing costs for faction titans, making the blueprints to produce them accessible for purchase with LP. Additionally, the cost of materials has been reduced, making their manufacturing more accessible.
And these would be some of the most relevant data. Undoubtedly, it's an interesting challenge that now lies upon the empires of New Eden. We hope you enjoy the content and can enhance your gameplay to make the most of it.
Placeholder comment, but day 1 was wild with Angels.
Super surreal to be in stacked fleets with random eve celebs dunking on... everyone?
Fighting both sides in a FW zone is exactly the right amount of content. :3
