SYNDE / TURBO(Attacker) VS VOIDL (Defender)

Why did this happen? They don´t told me. I am here for pew pew.

Hello, can we talk about Wormholes? It's now been over 2 Months in a Wormhole and yesterday I got lost in pathfinder. I couldn ́t find the Bookmark for the WH... and will never find it because its K-Space GATE to GATE connection. You, not me,  can see this on the different visualizations in pathfinder. It's blue and has a different shape.

WH AAR

Most of you may know it because it was posted as an BR for ARR on reddit. Some know it because they saw some dread kills in a wormhole on ZK. But only a few were actually on the grid, and this my friends is the point of a WH eviction.

Timer war:

https://br.evetools.org/br/65e28f11793979245e73b764445b has been lost in the first fight on both side.

J152820 is a C5 Pulsar with a Static C5

Effects:

++
Shield +86%
Nos & Neut Drain Amount +86%
Signature +86%
--
Armor Resistances -43%
Cap recharge -43%

Think about it like your abyssal effects just in wormhole space and different. So since the fight happened here both sides brought shield ships.

Because you can MEME Fit as hard as you want but ~50% less armor is bad start.

Some personal pre story

In order to infill you need to travel. You want to travel without being touched. Depending how good you managed your standings this quest of 20 minutes or as long it takes to get positive Standings. -> It took loooong, but now i am untouchable.

Once done you get a system where you can infill and everybody travels as fast as they can. In 0.9 Systems and higher i was faster than everybody else... with some risk.

I forgot to update my negative security status which either webs you in warp or you die in a ~3B ship. Luckily the infill was gone before we hit the system. So plenty of time to fix my security standing, just for the chill. I can lose it but how does that look like ?!

Once security status was fixed the next infill was called and we raced to the new system. You hangle through a chain of wormholes and end up in the target system. You DO NOT use the POS password as your ship name. A true eve relic here.

Prep for no fight aka Holecontrol

And now we do “Holecontrol” which means you try to control what gets in and out. If needed you close the hole with something big. Also there was a stormbringer squad trying to prevent stuff from joining through a frigate hole.

There was batphoning on both sides but only the attacker side got through with 130 Pilots in Tengus from Init. Horde brought 3040Harpys but stood later down.

The fight was on and the Attackers planned to rule over this WH with Barghests and the Defenders choosing Ravens. Both Parties field some capitals mainly PNIs with some FAX support.

The defender used there home advantage to field +20 capitals. The Attacker side was able to squeeze 10 Capitals into the fight.

The difference between Cruise Barghest vs Cruise Raven is mainly DPS and the missing prop mod on the Raven site. Tankwise both ships are around the +300k shield hitpoints before fleet boost but with the given WH effects.  DPS wise we have 870 DPS at around 222km by the Barghest against the 408 DPS at 276km range from the Raven. Do you need more application in this WH Setup? Maybe i don´t know can ask the RAVEN what the deeper thought was here.

The Numbers will show us some fatal information 433 Attackers VS 273 Defenders. A massive amount of shield hitpoints and the grind on extra shield hitpoints was on.

Since the blood god was already satisfied by the above fight the structure's grind was then uncontested.

https://zkillboard.com/kill/116001274/

https://zkillboard.com/kill/116001534/Another 80B got deleted.

What is not covered in the Report is the amount of Loot which a dying structure drops. (Small yellow cans, depending on how much crap is inside this can be a ball or just single jetcan) We will never know how much got out or safely logged somewhere in the WH for now.

Getting back home

Somebody search for a Chain into K-Space and than you use the poch express as a small group. From there you get to you prefered home.

On Saturday March 16th I invited members of Eve University to join my weekly Flying Circus fleet to learn more about how small gang warfare in Low Security space is accomplished in the current environment. This event was planned months in advance to help Eve Uni celebrate their 20th anniversary and had been promoted by CCP in the most recent Community Beat release.

https://www.eveonline.com/news/view/community-beat-for-15-march

Due to the recent time change we got an early start on the fleet and the entire fleet ended up running for almost three hours. Our doctrine for the day was expanded to include potentially lower skill point players, but that ended up not being an issue. So we rolled primarily with Beam Retributions around a strong frigate logi core, with the help of a few other important support ships - like two Keres for tackle, a Daredevil for webs, etc.

In addition to Stay Frosty/ABA and Eve Uni pilots, we were also joined by pilots from The Potato Alliance, Mass Hysteria, and others. Our fleet got off to a great start when someone spotted a Raven Navy Issue gating through the neighborhood. Quick action resulted in him being caught rather quickly on the gate.

Unfortunately we were unable to secure a Battlefield anywhere in the neighborhood during our fleet. This was exactly what our gang was built to engage with and none spawned during the three hours of our roam. Still, we managed to engage a rather large gang of Thrasher Fleet Issues and ended up removing all of them from the field. Eight in all, without a single loss on our side.

All in all we removed nearly 6b in total assets from space and recovered nearly half that value in loot, all while losing only a single ship.

As March draws to its end with only 6 days remaining, an examination of the political map, timers, and my intel allows me to confidently state that the battle in F4R2-Q was the biggest in EVE Online for March 2024.

Raw Stats

The First Encounter (kinda)

On the 17th of March 2024, the virtual universe of EVE Online witnessed a colossal battle in the Southeastern regions of space (Catch and Curse), particularly around the system F4R2-Q. This epic confrontation involved around 6000 pilots. However, the significance and impact of this battle on the game's history are still being questioned.

The fighting began early in the EVE morning, around 10 AM server time. The conflict was triggered when the PandaFam coalition engaged The Initiative's Tengu fleet in G-0Q86. The initial fight didn't go as planned from the start. As some participants noted, The Initiative brought a 'knife to a gunfight'. Fleet composition was Strategic Cruisers (x228 Tengus), Heavy Assault Cruisers (x166 Vagabonds), and Assault Frigates (x210 Retributions). They faced a robust battleship core of Marauders (x61 Paladins), along with battleships (x120 Barghests, x86 Nightmares, and x111 Tempest Fleet Issue) plus support.

Despite losing over 500 ships, The Initiative won in terms of cost-effectiveness, thanks to Fraternity and Pandemic Horde's reliance on more shiny fleet.

Citadel pew-pew

At around same time, another clash occurred nearby as the Imperium rushed to reinforce PandaFam's Keepstar in F4R2-Q. Although the Keepstar itself wasn't the primary battle stage, it set the scene for a massive showdown. PandaFam deployed an array of ships, including 530 Rokhs, Barghests, and Vagabonds, while the Imperium countered with Sacrileges, Vagas, and Cyclone Fleet and other Issues.

A significant point in the battle was the Imperium's focus on destroying a Jammer, which initially gave PandaFam a tactical advantage. The destruction of the Jammer led to more intense fighting around an Imperium Fortizar, compounded by high time dilation and server strain, common in large-scale EVE Online battles.

Outcome and Losses

PandaFam emerged as the victor, inflicting heavier losses on the Imperium. The final toll was staggering (for a sub-capital scale, of course): the Imperium lost ships worth approximately 355 billion ISK, while PandaFam's losses totaled around 219 billion ISK. Notably, two Imperium Zirnitra dreadnoughts and a Hel, marking a significant loss.

Post-fight Reddit discussions and YouTube comment battles between both parties suggest potential for future conflict escalation, possibly leading to even larger battles.

The F4R2-Q Legacy

Ironically, the recent battle in F4R2-Q isn't the first time this system has been the stage for epic conflict in EVE Online. Roughly seven years ago, this very system witnessed another massive battle, remembered as one of the longest and most intense in the game's history (at the moment of occurrence), lasting over 9 hours.
