The hardworking folk at CCP have to put up with a lot, not least of which is hearing 'EVE is dead' every day for the last two decades. And so we've decided to show them some love, or rather, we've decided to give you the chance to show them some love.

To win this bounty, tell us about one or more devs, mods, or community figures that you'd like to celebrate. They don't even have to work for CCP, they could just be a community figurehead. Tell us why you like them, how they've gone beyond the call of duty, or what they've brought to the community. We're looking for a minimum of 50 words.

Highlighting the work of a single figure within the EVE Online community is truly difficult; everyone does great work, and you can really see the concern for players, and the community feels heard.

But on this occasion, I want to highlight the work of CCP Bee and CCP Tara. As I mentioned at the beginning, everyone does great work, but for me, the support provided by Bee and Tara to the Spanish-speaking community is simply gratifying. From receiving feedback that may arise with each major update to simply asking how we can improve and help new Spanish-speaking pilots is something that makes us feel represented and that we are an important part of the huge community.

In addition, on behalf of all Spanish speakers, a huge thank you to all those whose names may not shine as brightly. The community knows they exist, and we recognize the important role they played in something that until a few years ago was simply a dream: "EVE Online in Spanish."

A shoutout to CCP Shortfall who’s always been keen to engage with the Dust/Vanguard/Eve player base, going above and beyond his remit working on the backend development to answer our questions or quell our rampant speculation on what to expect for Project Redacted. It was definitely appreciated, especially as it was all in his own time, hopefully he’ll get more of a break as they recruit the community team

What's disturbing is now on is mentioning CCP Mirage. He is highly active within the community on Twitter (https://twitter.com/CCP_Mirage) but also presents the Eve Pulse each month which gives us detailed, up-to-date information on what going on, inside Eve Online and outside, plus covering the Dev's side, player kickstarters, and most recently Rixx Javix Eve Online board game.

I want to extend my warm thanks to the entire team at CCP Games for their exceptional work. Meeting many of you, like the charismatic CCP Zelus, the humorous CCP Loki, and the behind-the-scenes hero George Kelion, has been a true pleasure. Each of you plays a significant role in the EVE community.

A special shout-out to Bergur Finnbogason, a.k.a. CCP Burger, who, as Creative Director for the last five years, has brought incredible depth to EVE’s lore, including the Triglavians and Deathless. His energy, showmanship, and drive are infectious. I believe his contributions to the product development have been monumental.

CCP Burger’s impact on EVE Online is both profound and inspiring!

I adore CCP Burger! Showmanship is the word! But he's also endlessly passionate, energised, and eloquent! I was lucky enough to interview him every month in another role, and nearly every time the interview ran over because we started nerding out on some element of sci-fi, futurism, or philosophy. He's a king!

CCP Convict all the way for me!

Public content is in a far better position now than it has ever been, and the very fact that he has championed FUN INC, our calendar, and now the V2 NPSI Community Gateway right from the word go is a huge thing.

Just getting visibility of this via the CCP twitch stream using the !npsi command was a huge success, but it has not stopped there. he has mentioned us nuemrous times on streams, at Fanfest, and on discords.

I now finally feel that time-poor people with many RL commitments now have a viable alternative / option to enjoying EVE online than joining a corp.

I would like to celebrate CCP Bee and CCP Swift for the amazing community work that they are doing

So far they have been very approachable and keen to help with anything related to the game. Their dedication to creating a positive and welcoming environment for players is truly commendable.

It is evident that they genuinely care about the community and go above and beyond to ensure that everyone feels valued and supported. They are shining examples of what makes the game community so special, and I am grateful for all of their hard work and dedication.

I'd like to celebrate CCP Zelus for being incredibly instrumental to my work on the Eve War For New Eden Board Game project. I could literally have never accomplished all that needed to be, and continues to be needed, without his unwavering and unquestioning support during the last year. No one outside of a few people will ever know about his efforts, his help at weird hours of the day, and his positive and contagious attitude. And while I can't share exactly what he did to be such an important part of my work due to confidentiality, that doesn't lesson the critical nature of his help and support. His name might never appear in any official credits on this project, but it should.
