Space-age sounds: submit your favourite EVE Online noise!

You've already created and shared some gorgeous EVE Online ASMR videos. Now we've got a new auditory challenge for you! Here's what you need to do:

Decide on your favourite in-game sound effect in EVE Online.
Record and submit a short video of that sound (minimum five seconds, maximum one minute). Title it something like 'My favourite EVE Online sound'.
Include text telling us what the sound is (and, optionally, why you enjoy it).

No promises, but we might run another reward challenging you to turn the sounds submitted to this reward into a soundscape of the galaxy. Please indicate in your submission if you'd be happy for your sound to be included.

In space, no one can hear you scream, but if you dock up, you’ll hear lots of cool station ambience!

I noticed that a number of space station ambience was changed or implemented, and I’ve taken a liking to the Gallente space station style.

Specifically, the one in my home station of Couster, the Gallente Federal Navy Academy headquarters.

Many of the new capsuleers who start their journey into EVE Online for the Gallente Federation find themselves in Couster, which is one of three training hubs for the Federation.

The moment you undock from the station, the ambience unleashes this bombastic ‘grand reveal’ as you emerge from the docking bay and take your first steps into the vastness of space. Nearby transmissions echo throughout the area as instructors coordinate the movements and training of cadets and recruits. The lights of the station blaze brilliantly. The ambience is welcoming with intrigue and a sense of confidence, and is not imposing or intimidating.

Although, there used to be a series of uplifting beeps and tunes to occasionally accompany this, but I can’t seem to regenerate those moments…Hopefully they’re still intact because I really liked those!

While thinking about what sound would be my favourite, I logged in to check some things when I realized how easy it was to decide. I went for the login sound that means so much to me. It is the sound of internet spaceship adventures, friendships and rivalries. Clearly not only my favourite sound, but also one with a real emotional response. I feel kinda silly talking about a video game like this, but I must admit it is true.

My favourite sound in eve is traveling! Why? Because I can chill out next to it! I don't think this sound would be included in another reward, but I don't mind!
