I don't know about everyone else UK based here but I have been loving the Gladiators reboot on BBC1. Chung is my bet to win the series for the men with how well he has done in the first round and the quarter finals.
Some of the events and scoring need a bit of a rethink for series 2. Gauntlet, the run seems a lot smaller than how it was in the 90's and the equipment they are given to block the contestants just doesn't seem substantial enough. Practically everyone gets the full 10 points.
The Edge where they run back and forward on the raised platform needs a rethink as well. getting 2 or 4 points from some games then massive scores of up to 18 on that one seems unbalanced.
What do people think of it? is it as good as the 90's version? any events you would like to see make a comeback from the old series?
