I think some 'kid's films' can be overlooked, yet have deeper meanings that can apply to adults too!
I know a lot of people who refuse to watch a film (especially if its animated) because it's 'for kids', even though it's just a great film.
For me, ratatouille sticks out - if it wasn't animated it would probably be received as a bit of an arthouse film. When i was a child I remembered my parents getting excited when I wanted to watch it because they could enjoy it too!
What 'kid's films' do you guys think are films that transcend this label and why? ^-^
