What are you watching this month? There's plenty of festive TV alongside all of the non-festive new series to watch: if you're in the UK, this list from the Radio Times has some of the more popular offerings. I'll likely whack on both the Gavin & Stacey and Outnumbered Christmas specials, and the return of Squid Game Season 2 on Boxing Day is intriguing.

I've also just finished watching Star Wars: The Acolyte. Wasn't too keen on the ending and it had a slow start, but the meat of the show from episodes 3-7 was solid. Can recommend if you're a Star Wars fan!

S2E1... boy, so many lines unfolded in under 40 minutes, the season gonna be legendary!

Spent the majority of my December so far stuck to the couch with a fever so my partner indulged in her passion for movies.

I watched Love/Hard (2021)

A rom-com from Netflix which was pretty enjoyable. I'm not too sure whether the audience is expected to want to be with the protag or not as she is a very snarky LA type which really turns me off. Jimmy O Yang is also a very unusual pick for a co-lead/ love interest just from an appearance point of view but I did enjoy the earnestness of his character which I think is the point of the film.

Apart from that, my partner and I still make time for DaDanDan Thursdays which we are loving every episode
