Has There Been a Change in Content Moderation Practices Here?

Today, I noticed something unusual—all my posts and bounty submissions are undergoing human review (moderation). This wasn't always the case; previously, only certain submissions were moderated.

Has anyone else experienced this change? Is it just my account, or has there been an update to the moderation process that I missed? Would love to hear if others are seeing the same pattern.

All normal posts that had images in them were held for moderation (and most external links). I reported a bug where if you did the same as a bounty post, it bypassed moderation and just posted straight away. Not sure if it was my bug report or they already knew about it, but looks like it's fixed.

I've reported a good chunk of stuff on the bug report form, I expect most of them they already know about anyway, but no harm in filling it in.

Usually this happens to me when I just upload a picture directly or paste a picture link instead of going via the validating route.

Hey Sturmer, you're right about there being a change!

We recently brought our process for checking bounty submissions in line with how we handle discussions and replies.

It's to make sure we spot any submissions featuring content that falls short of our Community Code of Conduct.

I think I have found a bug that lets you get out of held for moderation status and get it to move to posted. Not 100% sure though. I will test over the weekend and fill the bug report form in if I can recreate it again.

it happens to me too. Not sure what the issue is. It happens with pictures, external links. Even just plain text. But only on some posts. Eventually after a few mins it goes through.

At the moment it's something most members will experience, but it's nothing to worry about. Our moderation workflow is more hands-on while we're improving platform functionality, and this will fine tune our approach when our platform leaves beta.
