Hi everyone - gosh do we have some news for you today: Just About’s rewards are breaking out of the platform and spreading across the internet!
We’ve built a browser extension for Google Chrome. It’s called Just Rewards and you can download it from the Chrome store right now. Let's tell you more.
How does it work?
The idea, in essence: you’ll be browsing around the internet, doing your thing, and then you get notified (in a friendly, unobtrusive way) about a reward opportunity that you should find interesting. This is how it'll look:
You can click to learn more, in which case the notification will unfurl to show the rewards associated with the URL you’re on and others around the platform. Or you can simply ignore it and it will disappear (or click ‘dismiss’), and that domain won’t notify you again for a 24-hour cooldown period.
We want the notifications you get to be relevant to what you’re browsing for. We’ve done this by carefully matching rewards to various URLs across the internet, not by tracking your data or browsing activity - the extension doesn’t do that, and to prove it, the source code is public.
Why build a browser extension?
Our goal with Just Rewards is to offer members a convenient, off-platform way to discover relevant rewards and enter them, rather than asking them to proactively come in and look around. Not everyone has time to make regular appointments with yet another social media platform. We get it.
But it will only succeed if we get the tuning right: enough notifications to discover new rewards, all on well-targeted URLs for relevance, but not so many, or so repetitive or insistent, as to be annoying.
That’s why, before we send out a wider public announcement in the new year, we’re making Just Rewards available on the platform only for now. We’d like your help, our valued existing members, to test it.

Download and install the Just Rewards browser extension
Take it for a spin! Browse across the internet as you normally would.
Head to the test Just Rewards reward and submit your thoughts (if you’re using the extension, you’ll notice this reward pops up on justabout.com!)
If you feel able to honestly do so, please leave us a five-star review on the Chrome store. This’ll be a big help in getting us some early traction, and in turn, attract more partners to the platform.
