Hey folks, we’re well and truly into the new year so it’s time to get back to our weekly Wednesday updates! This week we talk about changes to SMITE 2 and the new(ish) reward feeds we launched just before the break. 

SMITE 2 goes free to play

SMITE 2 is now free to play! While this isn’t an update to our platform it does mean you can get involved in a new JA community, free of charge. Check out our SMITE 2 tips to get started, browse our SMITE 2 curated content for god guides and other resources, and read the SMITE 2 FAQ for more info about the launch. 

SMITE veterans: be sure to take new players under your wings, and look out for an exciting bumper release of new SMITE 2 rewards going live on the site very soon, including one of our biggest prizes ever. We’ll see you on the Battleground!

Save rewards and filter feed

This is just a quick reminder in case you missed our pre-Christmas update. Before the break we added a much-requested feature - personal reward feeds - giving you the ability to save and filter new rewards, rewards you’ve submitted to, and even a dedicated filter for rewards you’ve won. Each reward and submission is displayed using our new ‘cards’, much like the reward cards you see in your community feeds.

Bug fixes and optimisations

Our hardworking tech team has been focused on some behind-the-scenes updates over the last few weeks. These are the ones - a small proportion of the whole - that you might have seen around the platform:

• The announcement banner for the Just Rewards browser extension can now be clicked in any position

• A UI bug has been fixed that prevented reward cards from embedding properly in other posts

• The feed carousel now uses new reward card designs, and a UI issue related to this has been fixed

• A bug has been fixed that caused payout success emails to be sent even if there was a payout failure
