Hey folks, it’s time for the Wednesday Thursday platform update. This week we talk about higher-value rewards, rewards that bring players closer to their games and communities, and recent bug fixes across and beyond the platform.
Leave your mark
History buffs are invited to suggest a new tannoy announcement for Two Point Museum, with the first-place submission winning $100 and a chance for their announcement to be added to the game!
If you want to share your love of New Eden with the world, our beauty of EVE reward is offering a $500 top prize and the chance for your video to be screened at FanFest 2025 in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Big-ticket rewards
Rewards historically offered a few dollars for each winning submission, but lately we’ve been able to share some truly big-ticket rewards. We’ve already mentioned two of them, but here are a few more if your preference is to pull out all the stops when you create:
EVE Online - Host a brand new in-game event - $500
Wobbledogs - Create a Wobbledog in real life using whatever you want - $100
Critter Café - Film an IRL stop-motion video inspired by Critter Café - $80
Empyreal - Design a new weapon for Empyreal - $60
Farming Simulator 25 - Crop art challenge! Make an FS25 masterpiece - $30
We want to give a special shout out once again to the this is my Elite Dangerous reward, which offers the biggest total prize pot of any reward ever on Just. There is $6,000 up for grabs, with 50 submissions each receiving $120.
Bug fixes and optimisations
Our platform team has been focused on bringing more reward opportunities to new and existing members, with recent bug fixes and optimisations including:
Introducing a new log in / sign up via a modal for even faster logging-in/signing-upping
Adding support for embedded YouTube /clips
Fixed a bug causing the reward card tooltips to appear behind the live feed when using certain screen sizes
Optimising the bookmarking performance on our rewards browser extension
