When I first saw this event, the idea of making dog-shaped cookies immediately came to mind. I explored different types of cookie recipes, and in the end, I decided to go with iced sugar cookies.

I made two flavors of cookie dough: vanilla, and gingerbread chocolate with a hint of cinnamon. When I pressed my handmade cookie cutter into the dough, I couldn’t believe how well it turned out! I even made extra base pieces for separate body parts.

Here's the pic of handmade cutter made by cardboard and tapes!

The cookies smelled absolutely amazing when they came out of the oven. While letting them cool, I prepared a wide range of icing colors and started decorating each babies, giving them unique patterns and colors.

There are regular dogs, dogs in different colors, ones with geometric patterns, splatter designs, heart-shaped markings, and dogs without tails or with wings.
I even made a “dead” version wobbledog! just like how they die in games, all body apart.

I'm really happy to share this tray of wobbledog cookies with everyone. The vibrant colors are such a mood booster!

My real-life mechanical Wobbledog!!

I ended up talking about the creation process in detail in the post's description but I'll put it in short here:

The base of the dog is an upcycled walking, barking mechanical toy dog. I shaved the plastic down to fit the body shape I wanted, getting rid of the barking mechanic in the process (a small sacrifice to make). Then foam board was added to give that boxy shape, sculpted the legs and head with modeling foam, added felt and paint to the respective parts, then attached the head to the body with a spring for additional wobbly movement when walking.

I've been crocheting for a little over a year now and it's about time I made my own pattern! I love the game; I just think the dogs are so cute. He's missing a leg because that was my first mutation in the game! <3

My fella, Dry Kibble & Bits! This little wobbledog was a must to make as an entry as he holds a special place in not just mine but also my friends hearts, being a favourite among us all!

I carefully designed this plush to as accurately represent Dry Kib, I even made sure to make his unique patterning match on all four sides of his body! Overall this project took about 12 hours, this includes patterning, designing the embroidery, stitching out the embroidery and sewing!
