After a quiet late-summer spell, winter is looking increasingly bright for Just. And without giving too much away, we’re expecting a lot more games over the coming months. That means we need to expand our community of creators. Fortunately, we have the perfect method of reaching new audiences: Just! To win a prize, make a video about… us! Click ‘reward details’ for important info.
You can enter with a video of any length, be it a detailed walkthrough demonstrating how our rewards work or a quick but informative video short. We’ve got two prize tiers, which we’ll award based on quality, effort, and execution as opposed to just video length. However long your video, be sure to show the platform itself. We’d love it if you included our URL somewhere too: JustAbout.com.
We recommend starting with a great hook that grabs attention from the get go. Think about which creators would be a good fit for Just rewards and design your video with them in mind. We’ve made some of our brand assets available here in case you’d like to include them in your video; please don’t distort them! Please remember that our URL is JustAbout.com, but we go by the name Just.
As with nearly all of our rewards, personality and authenticity are as key as quality. This isn’t a reward looking for corporate marketing videos, rather we’d like you - our community - to explain in your own voice what you like about Just and why you think other creators would too. One of the greatest obstacles we face as a business is ‘this sounds too good to be true’ scepticism. So social proof from real creators like you goes a long way. Accordingly, we’ll heavily prioritise rewards with human narration over text-to-speech or captions.
Only YouTube or TikTok videos will be accepted for this reward; we’ll likely boost the best entries.
Don’t feel obligated to include all of these points, especially if you don’t agree with them, but - according to the recent community feedback we collected on our Discord - these are the things we do well and that other creators may appreciate:
Creators of any size can participate; there’s no test, minimum follower requirement, or barrier to entry. If you make good content, you’ll win prizes!
We have several dozen rewards available at any time (if our plans come to fruition, that’ll be in the hundreds soon). Those rewards range from easy-to-win screenshot, clip, and punning contests for snagging some quick coffee money all the way up to creative mega rewards with $1,000 prizes (like this one).
We have challenges for every type of content: highlight reels, clips, screenshots, fan art, guides, creative challenges, etc.
We have challenges for a variety of games, from indie gem platformers to breakout soulslikes and stalwart MMOs.
The majority of entries win cash prizes, and the best entries are amplified to massive audiences, helping creators grow their channels while providing them with an additional monetisation route.
Our rewards get your content seen by our partnered game studios, and can even result in your content being added to their games. For example, our creators' tannoy announcements were added to Two Point Museum and our EVE creators’ submissions have been showcased at Fanfest, featured in EVE Academy, and added in-game.
Our rewards do not count as sponsorship, so creators are totally free to pursue other means of monetisation.
We offer friendly constructive criticism to help you grow as a creator.
We have a welcoming, supportive community of fellow creators.
Our rewards are a source of content creation inspiration, giving creators new ideas and pushing them gently out of their comfort zones.
There’s no obligation to participate in a minimum number of rewards, just find the games and challenges you like the look of.
It’s easy to sign up, it’s easy to enter rewards, and it’s easy to win prizes as long as you can make good content.
