I always love bassists. I especially love Kim Deal of the Pixies and feel that they've been a husk ever since she left the band.

Did she go solo path now?

She started a band with her twin sister callrd The Breeders around the time they started to fall apart the first time and they're so good. I'm going to see them this summer!

Bassists was what I was going to go with too, specifically Tool’s bassist. Songs would simply not be the same in quite a noticeable way, even for people without a musical ear, so to speak.

Tool’s bassist is absolutely amazing

I literally only know one Tool song, which is Schism, after seeing the video on MTV2 like 20 or so years ago, but the bassline has been embedded in my head ever since

I love bassist too!

With my favourite band Serenity both the guitarist and bassist contributes to songwriting and long-time fans can tell who wrote which song as they'll have unique characteristics.

Sonata Arctica changed guitarist and bassist and both resulted in a change of songs. I could still handle the guitarist change in 2007 but didn't like their albums after the bassist change in 2013.
