Patch notes below but the most significant cahnge I think is this
"Using the same material type across multiple slots no longer applies the bonus from that material type multiple times. E.g., Using Iron for a gun's barrel and action does not double the benefit of using iron."
Doesn't this significantly reduce the variety of crafting recipes for an item? Unless I'm reading it wrong it basically means you should just make each item out of every material type as there is no point in making a barrel and action using the same material? So in effect the best item for everything is just use one of everything and you don't need to think about how to tailor it for what you want?
Also of note is no more death boxes to run and collect.

Reclaimed ingots and reclaimed lumber now only return the primary characteristic on the item (the one that's in the name)
Reclaimed ingots and reclaimed lumber now cost 5 items
Reclaimed ingots currently does not work on alloy metals (bronze, brass, steel)
Hinges can now be reclaimed
Removal of 'Death Chests': dying in 0.1.3 will now only cause loss of durability, food buffs and time. This should make death/respawning less frustrating for Realmwalkers.
Ranged attacks in third person are more accurate to where the player is aiming
When selecting a recipe, it now displays the item’s base stats
Driftwod and Deadfall now have the same harvest symbol
