I always enjoy playing survival games in an arctic setting and would love this in Nightingale.

Back when I would play ark on a server I got bored of friends obsessed with breeding dinos so I took a raft full of supplies and headed for the snow biome. After several irl days of building, dieing to cold and respawning on repeat I had somthing of a shelter and after a few weeks, created a working service station for players venturing in to or back from the snowy mountains to rest, cook, pick up supplies or donate unwanted items.

I would love to see Nightingales take on this and what we could do to survive the frozen wastes!

LLittle late to the party but i always gather enough supplies to head to the snow biome atop on of the highest peaks. Safest location from players and allowed me to build a small warehouse for goods i would trade around the map.

i would like to see a lava biome with the respective fauna

Adding a new biome to Nightingale is more than just a cosmetic change; it involves developing unique game mechanics and materials. With six major biome types, and three already in the game, an interesting choice would be the Alpine tundra. This biome would leverage the existing hot/cold mechanics in the game.

Imagine a realm with challenging Alpine tundra terrain requiring warm clothes to counter the low temperatures. It would be a perfect setting to fully utilize climbing picks for navigating vertical landscapes like steep slopes and ice caves. We could encounter new flying beasts and face weather challenges like fog or blizzards, adding layers of difficulty and requiring strategic navigation.

This biome wouldn’t just offer a new visual experience, but also new gameplay mechanics and challenges, enriching the Nightingale universe.

I would love to see the a jungle biome.

Instead of the swap disease here there could be some poisonous animals you would have to defend yourself from or always carry some cure with you. The thick vegetation doesn't let you have a clear view of what's ahead so better watch your step, because you can suddenly find yourself at the edge of a cliff with a waterfall running so deep you can't even see the bottom of it. Will you take an umbrella ride down in hopes of finding some lost treasure?

I could imagine building bridges here or towers high enough to reach above the trees and you could find some completely different flying creatures up there to hunt. Or maybe you find the entrance to an underground fae building and the path through it leads you to a valley where you finally see the blue sky again and the whole place looks like a tropical paradise but since the fae led you here watch out for the traps!

Just a couple of ideas although there are lots if you move away from the core basics and look at them more as themed locations.

Volcanic - A giant inactive volcano (or is it!) as the centre piece with surrounding ruins indicating past events, substantial caves, man made and natural to explore, find out about the history of the location and what went on? What secrets does it hold?

Scrap heap - broken and rusting machines and past technology, historical abandoned relics that give a hint of the story of the past. Machines that can be repaired to output refined materials. Faulty automations that have repaired themselves using makeshift parts. wildlife using scrap for shells or useful tools/weapons!

Underwater! Not many games are able to nail good water physics and underwater sections - and there are very few builder/crafting games that have attempted it. I'd love to be able to build my own Atlantis!
