Post-Race Recovery Strategies: How Do You Bounce Back After Pushing Your Limits?

I've often heard the saying in sports, "No pain, no gain." It's true that after a hard workout, it's the recovery period when your body rebuilds and you truly progress. I've noticed that the best results come after a race, as you push beyond your comfort zone.

But how do you recover in the days following a race or intense training session?

Personally, I focus on isotonic drinks to restore mineral balance, and if possible, I soak in a hot tub. The next day, I switch to a different sport to aid recovery. For instance, after a cycling race, I'll go for a jog, and vice versa.

What are your recovery strategies? Do you have any tips or routines that help you bounce back after giving it your all?
