What we need - a new form of batteries, smaller and more effective. To make wearables more compact, powertools, e-scooters, e-bikes, e-cars etc.

And do you know where we stand on their production?

The discovery of the LiFePO4/NrGO nanocomposite began gaining attention around 2014. By 2021, I came across articles highlighting how Metal Nanogrid Catalysts (MNGCs) could achieve impressive electrochemical properties for oxidation-reduction reactions. This technology's compact size, high efficiency, and resistance to degradation suggest it could be a game-changer, potentially offering a compact energy source with an almost infinite lifespan. However, as of 2024, these advancements are still not available to the public. I remain hopeful, though, that we're just a few years away from seeing their broader application

Aha, interesting. Is it stuck passing regulatory checks, technological hurdles, or resource shortages?

Honestly, that's a big question for me. I expected to see some results 2-3 years ago. Lithium mafia also could be involved, but that story is for conspiracy lovers hehe

I've had an Oura Ring for around 4 years (I'm on my second one) and I absolutely love it. Coupled with my Apple Watch I find the various sleep and activity metrics invaluable for health.

I'm not sure what/who the new players in the game are targeting but I'm looking forward to more competition in the market as that always creates more innovation!
