Just the casual $15k! Any specific reason those are the parts you've gone for, or have you just gone for the most expensive in each category? Mind, I think you'll be stuck without a mouse and keyboard!

main thing was the AMD Threadripper, just had to make sure the other parts were up to scratch XD yeah no keyboard and mouse, the budget went on the PC so its the worlds most expensive paper weight

...and a 200 Bucks Headset please. -> checking the Monitor for a friend.

At first i've created some 30k $ weirdo, but when realized, i'm not gonna buy that anyways.

So here is a more realistic build

Total: €6328.90

White calm tones, silent air-based cooling, probably wort to take a bigger PSU, but I do not intend to OC too much.

If I could afford it and money was no object?

My next update would be:

Nvidia RTX 4080 AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 16 Cores 2 x 32GB DDR5 5200MHz = 64GB Ram 2 x WD Black SN850X PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe (Solid States) = 4 TB Basic Storage without externals ASUS TUF Gaming X67OE-Plus Wifi Motherboard AMD X67OE Chipset - Ethernet of 2.5Gbps, WiFi 2400Mbps + Bluetooth 5.2. Corsair RM 1000x PS 1000W Water Cooled System

Ofc I will NEVER be able to afford this, but yeh, that would be it :)

If money was no object these would be my specs, it’s way beyond my budget. Maybe one day, but I’m sure at that time everything will have become obsolete 🤣

This is just for starters, though I would have the H6 Flow with the red trim if it was available as it's just a gorgeous case. As for a desk, well it has to be the Secretlab's Magnus Pro;

As for peripherals? I'm not really sure likely a Mixture of Corsair/Steel Seeries goodies as I really like my Dark Core SE I currently have. A HOTAS would also be on the menu at a later stage.

Additional monitors would likely be chosen later or simply use older ones, I know the main one I chose might not be entirely practical but in a dedicated room, with the right configuration it would probably work.

I wouldn't recommend this motherboard unless you have an extra LGA1700 CPU on hand for a firmware update. I ran into this issue while building a friend's PC - I had to install a different CPU temporarily just to boot up and update the BIOS.

That's a weird glitch, I have the same mobo for the 8700k and didn't have any issues hence I picked it cos it's been a great mobo. Any alternative you'd recommend?

The issue lies with the Intel Core i7-14700K, which is a 14th generation CPU, whereas the motherboard in question is older. They will be compatible as both use the same socket, but I always recommend checking the "CPU Support" section on the official motherboard product page. For example, the Gigabyte Z790 AORUS PRO X will definitely work, even if it's the 1.0 version, since it ships with the F3 BIOS. Asrocks Z790 seems also to support 12, 13, and 14th gen out of the box.

However, I doubt you have the same mobo with the i7-8700K since it uses the LGA 1151 socket and DDR4. It will not be compatible with the Z790 chipset, and the LGA 1700 socket physically prevents the installation of this CPU

The Corsair RM650 (2023) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply may not provide sufficient wattage. The estimated part list maximum power draw is 690W.

This is my 12k build with all my favorite parts:

Do i like it? oh baby yesss! will i buy it? Nope

I present you a 2024 gaming beast, whoch will handle any modern game on ultra! Someone might ask why 1080p 24 inch monitor, well, its 540 hertz, and a really want to experience that level of smoothiness

This is my dream PC that will make my gaming experience more enjoyable and will last for the next 10 years.

  1. CPU: We start with the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, a 16-core, 32-thread beast that dominates every task you throw at it. Intel, step aside; AMD's advanced architecture and future-proofing capabilities make it the CPU of choice.

  2. GPU: Behold the mighty GeForce RTX 4090 24GB! This GPU is a full generation ahead of anything else out there. Opt for the liquid-cooled variant with a massive 240mm radiator to ensure optimal boost and heat dissipation.

  3. Storage: The Supreme Dream Machine laughs at mere mortal storage solutions. We kick things off with the Crucial T705 4TB Gen 5 SSD, the fastest M.2 drive money can buy. But wait, there's more! Add dual 8TB PCIe Gen 4.0 drives for a jaw-dropping total of 20TB of lightning-fast storage.

  4. RAM: Prepare for RAM overload: a whopping 128GB of DDR5-6400 RAM. Yes, you read that right. Your multitasking dreams will come true, and then some.

  5. Power Supply: A gargantuan 1600W Titanium-rated PSU ensures that your components never thirst for power. It's like having a nuclear reactor in your case (minus the radiation).

  6. Cooling: Keep things frosty with a 420mm liquid cooler from Corsair. Your CPU will chill like it's on vacation in the Arctic Circle.

  7. Case: The Cooler Master HAF 700 EVO is our chassis of choice. It's not just a case; it's a monument to your gaming prowess.

  8. Motherboard: **ASUS ROG Strix X670E-E Gaming ** due to the high-end motherboard designed for AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors. with the advantage of powerful 18+2 power stages, ensuring a stable and optimal power supply for Ryzen 7000 Series processors. This allows you to get the most performance out of those processors.

Once the deadline closes, we’ll pick up to six submissions, award $6 to each of the winners, and may share them as curated content.

Shouldn't that say 8 rewards of $4

So it should, thanks for the catch, fixed now! Bounty rewards often don't get finalised until right before it gets published, and sometimes when it's tweaked last-minute, the odd line can slip through without being changed. Appreciate the spot!

I like the Idea, but the database is limited.

Big plus point is which dependings will be checked. Does the PSU provide enough power for the whole system? If you start progressing the hardware gets limited what your system is handable. But i would love if there is some more focus:

How fast can the RAM be? This is limited by the CPU and the Mainboard. Uh there are promo codes :)

I love and build water cooling systems. I can´t build a water cooling System within PCpartpicker. Yes, i may can choose stand alone solutions but this not the same 😛

Potential is there, can´t wait to fully digital build a water cooling hard pipe system!!!!

Annoyingly, the platform I wanted to use just isn't on PCPartPicker. For a CPU, I would go with the Threadripper 7980X and the ASUS Pro WS TRX50-SAGE WIFI. That would be a whopping 64 cores of CPU. That would necessitate a pretty large case, hence I went with The Tower from Thermaltake, but also because I just can't live without an ODD in my system, and it's one of the few cases that still have a 5.25" bay. Another part I wanted that just isn't in their database yet is the Dark Power Pro PSU from Be Quiet, ideally the 1600W one.

Apart from that my other choices are pretty simple, plenty of RAM, one of the best displays on the market, etc.

Tried to make my dream white, clean water cooled setup, which is failing at some parts (looking at your Razer, where is my Naga white???)

I prefer AMD and Nvidia combo so went for a Ryzen 9 7950X3D this would definitely do me for a while even with gaming and streaming from the same PC and an RTX 4090 as it's the best on the Nvidia front we can get at the moment. ASUS used to have a pretty cool water cooled GPU as well but couldn't find it on this site. So an alternative GPU could be the GALAX Hydro but I guess that's not available anymore either as it doesn't show price and options to buy. So will settle with the fan version.

Tried for a full NZXT build as I really love their clean and simple designs, but didn't like the case they had here so settled with the Corsair case with water-cooling and lots of RGB fans. But if you really want to see my dream PC case, it would be this FFXIV edition:

Still chose an NZXT motherboard, as it's super clean and I fell in love with that look straight away.

You can't go wrong with Corsair RAM and Thermaltake PSU so once again I chose a brand I know and trust and they also fit nicely into the white design. Same goes for the Samsung NVME SSD, 1TB for the system and a 2TB storage drive, I need all the space for my video editing stuff.

Was debating what screen to choose, but since money is not a problem and I love symmetry decided to go with 3 Samsung Odyssey G7 4k screens. I don't like curved screens, but these 3 would fit nicely and give enough space for gaming and all the streamer stuff to see as well. Also this setup works very nicely with editing.

For peripherals it has to be Razer, I love the ones I already have and they didn't disappoint. So picked the newer version of the Leviathan soundbar I have and a Kraken Hello Kitty headset because I always thought it would be fun to stream with kitty ears on since my character in FFXIV is a catgirl. Sadly the BlackWidow keyboard doesn't come in white, so picked the DeathStalker which is still a very good mechanical keyboard. Would have to see how much the clicky keys would drive my partner mad :D (currently I have a BW with yellow switches which is the most quiet from the mechanical switches). And I can't part from the Razer Naga MMO mouse so this will ruin my white setup since it only comes in black. But I guess it matches the headset, soundbar and webcam?

And finally and Elgato product which I want but don't have yet is the Elgato Facecam Pro which I would pair with the teleprompter just couldn't add that to the setup on this site.

I already have the Elgato Wave 3 mic and the Stream Deck + in white so don't want to change those.

The final price comes to $7590.22 plus to add the teleprompter which is $279.99 so in total 7870.21.

Can I justify this price for a setup? No. Are there cheaper options which would do me just fine? Definitely. But if I didn't have to look at the price tag and wanted to buy something good enough for years and from brands I trust, then probably this would be the setup I would go for.

(The FFXIV case is a special edition complete PC build available in Japan. Not quite sure about the config, but the whole thing apparently costs $3800)

Edit: and I realised we don't care about price so threw in an other 64 GB RAM, plus noticed the PSU didn't show price either, so changed it for another model.

This is my "Simulation" for my Dream PC With such power also keeping cool with Lian Li PC Case, i just feel comfy with this setup also it has HUGE POWER lineup

  • CPU : Ryzen 7 7900X3D

  • RAM : KLEVV CRAS V RGB DDR5 PC48000 6000MHz 128GB (4X32GB)

its about IDR Rp153.052.000 or $9.565 (without Shipping) XD

This would probably be the build I would go for as it would have no issues running everything I wanted and then some.
