Important note: this reward is NOT about how to add decorative elements to increase your exhibits' buzz. As we all know, it's very simple to do this, because all decorations count - you could throw any number of random decorations anywhere around an exhibit and maximise its buzz. In that strict mechanical sense, this aspect of the game is simple - submissions that focus only on this will be rejected.
No, for this reward, we want your favourite tips, tricks, and hacks when decorating your museums in a way that is pleasing to the human eye. Tell us about:
Which tiles, carpets, and wallpapers work well together;
Whether and how you decorate exhibits differently based on size, theme, or how you want them to draw the eye;
Barriers and lighting: which ones? When? Why?
How do you get all the space batteries close enough to activate the space anomalies and still make the exhibition look good?
How do you add the functional science exhibits, like sprinklers and buzz boosters, throughout your museum and still make them look good?
Certain exhibits, like aquariums, habitats, the enormous exterior-only Wetlantean Ruins, and Polterguest rooms, are very different than others and need to be arranged/presented differently. How?
These are just examples - we're sure there's an endless list of little tips and hacks, certain decorative elements that work really well together or achieve neat aesthetic effects, that you can tell us about.
Pick one, two, or three of your favourite museum-decorating hacks, film a short video illustrating them in the game, and add either subtitles or human voiceover explaining what's going on and why it's one of your favourite decorative tricks.
Entries submitted in YouTube Short format will be considered for boosting, but only if they're of exceptional quality. Not sure what boosting is? Check out the announcement on our Discord!
