Useful to know it's still happening though. I'm with you; I loathe the idea of permanently losing access to products that I've purchased, regardless of any justifications. At the least give a refund! Digging into the story, Ubi says it should never happen to accounts that have purchased a game, but it seems it has in at least one case, so that doesn't feel terribly reassuring.
